In the condition of astigmatism, the front surface of the eye (Cornea) or the lens inside the eye is curved differently in one direction than the other.
This condition causes blurry or distorted vision. This can be treated by eyeglasses or contact lenses.
If you suffer from both cataract and astigmatism, your eye conditions can be corrected by using Monofocal Toric lens during your cataract surgery.
In the condition of presbyopia, your eyes gradually lose the ability to see things clearly up close. Presbyopia develops gradually and it is a normal part of aging.
